TICKETS STILL AVAILABLE FOR PSI OTE DANCE TONIGHT left for tonight’s Psi Ote Thanksthe road. No one was injured, giving dance, according to an announcement made today. "Fall Frolic” is the theme of the annual dance to take place at the Moose home tonight, starting at 9:30 o'clock. The “Keynoters” will provide music for dancing, and tickets, priced at $2.20, can be purchased from any Psi lota Xi member or at the door. MRS. LOUIS KRUECKEBERG IS HOSTESS TO MEETING The Merry Matrons home demonstration club met recently at the home of Mrs. Louis Krueckeberg. The meeting was opened by the president, Mrs. Ed Gerbers, by having Mrs. Delmar Thieme give the history of the song of the month, "Come Ye Thanksful People, Come” and then leading in the singing of it. Mrs. Otto Thieme led in devotions and Mrs. Wilbert Thieme read an article, “Preserving Children.” The lesson on carpet care was given by Mrs. Wilbert Thieme and Mrs. Louis Krueckeberg. The health and safety lesson on rabies was read by Ervin Fuelling. Roll call was answered by giving a favorite cold remedy, and the secretary’s report was read by Mrs. Walter Thieme. The repeating of the club collect closed the meeting.’ Mrs. Amos Thieme was awarded the door prize, and Mrs. Otto Thieme led the group in games and assisted the hostess in serving refreshments to the group. Guests attending the meeting were Mrs. Martin Bulmahn and Mrs. Milton Hoffman. Mrs. Walter Thieme will be hostess for the December Christmas party. The Knights of Columbus will hold open house next Wednesday evening, at the K. of C. Carl Geels will be on hand for square dancing, and everyone is invited to attend. Admission is 50 cents per person. Eta Tau Sigma sorority will meet Tuesday evening at 8 o’clock, at the home of Mrs. Robert Shraluka. Members of Olive Rebekah lodge 86 will meet in the Odd Fellows hall Tuesday evening at 7:30 o’clock. A business meeting of the Tri Kappa sorority will be held Tuesday evening at -7:45 o’clock, at the Youth and Community Center. Family night will be observed at Mt. Pleasant Methodist church, Sunday evening at 7 o’clock. The adult class will be in charge, and the committee consists of Mrs. Frank Singleton, Mrs. Leo King, Sr., and Mrs. Lionel Brentlinger. Pictures of the Holy Land will be shown by Mr. and Mrs. John Gage. The public is invited to attend this service. The St. John’s Lutheran church of Bingen, located on U. S. highway 27 north of Decatur, will sponsor a chicken dinner with a bazaar and bake sale Sunday beginning at 11:30 a.m. The public is invited to attend the event.
