4-H Club Members To International Show A new trip award for Adams county 4-H club members Is being sponsored by the Adams county 4-H club council this week-end. The trip will be for 24 Adams county 4-H girls and boys to the international livestock exposition and other points of interest in Chicago November 23 and 24. The trip wiß include a visit to a meat packing plant, the livestock show, the horse show at the coliseum Friday evening, and a visit to the museum of science and industry. The only cost to the 4-H member participating wiD be for a meal and incidentals. Transportation, hotel, and admissions will be paid for by the 4-H club council. Affolder Named To ’ Legislation Group Merle Affolder, Adams county sheriff, was appointed to the legislation committee of the Indiana sheriff's association at the annual state meeting of the association Monday and Tuesday in Indianapolis. The legislation studied included the proposed broadening of a statewide curfew for youngsters and a proposal to make parents responsible for the vandalism of their youngsters. There was also discussion of increasing county budgets to provide more local deputies instead of increasing state poUce forces throughout the stiite.
