Report Uneasy Truce In Soviet Factions New Power Struggle Is On In Kremlin LONDON (W — Diplomatic reports from Moscow today said an uneasy truce appears to have been established between the quarreling factions of the Krem- ~ lin, with the Red army acting as umpire. Soviet Army Marshal Georgi Zhukov, minister of national defense, has increased his influence considerably over "old-Golshevik” Vyacheslav Molotov and Cotnmunist party boss Nikita S. Khrushchev, the reports said. The diplomats said the new power struggle in the Kremlin was expected to reach its climax next month at the meeting of the Com-! munist party’s central committee, j Hie reports said the events in Eastern Europe have had a ‘ profound effect*’ on the Kremlins leadership and have led to considerable dissention among the Soviet leaders. The collective leadership seemingly has agreed on a truce for the time being to enable Russia to deal first with the urgent political and military aspects of the East European uprising and the Mid-east crisis, the reports said. But the quarrel between the KKremlin’s old guard and the deStalinization group led by Khrushchev has by no means been settled, they said. Trade to a Good Town — Decatir Lil' Leaguer gg

nary arteries. Drs. Charles P .Bailey of Hahnemann Medical College and Hospital in Philadelphia, Pa., and Angelo M. May of Mt, Zion Hospital, San Francisco, told about the new technique at a meeting of the American Society for Study of Arteriosclerosis. Bailey, who performed the first of twq such operations last month, said a thin instrument was inserted in the arteries to cut away excess fat which blocks the blood flow and causes heart attacks. Bailey said two men, aged 51
and 52 and previous heart attack patients, underwent the operations. Both men, he said, were in pain before the operation. They appeared doomed to “live on the shelf physically,” Bailey said. He warned that it was too early to determine how much the operation aided the two men or whether heart victims could be sayed by the surgical technique.
