Ira Bodie of South 10th street told police yesterday that someone entered his house Sunday between 11:30 a.m. and 5 p.m. and several items were taken. He stated that when they returned home at 5 p.m. the front door, which had been closed but not locked, was standing open. A necklace, some film and about SSO worth of trade stamps were taken. He said that apparently the thieves were youngsters since money and valuable rings were not taken. ’ Jetro B. Sprunger, of Decatur, came to the police station Tuesday evening to report that his bowling ball had been stolen from his car sometime between Oct. 15 and Tuesday night. One Driver Charged Following Accident Otto F. Koeneman, 70, of Decatur, was charged with failure to yield the right of way following an accident Tuesday morning at the corner of .Brant street and Mercer avenue. • His car collided with a car driven by Jean Workinger, 31, of Decatur. Darlene Sue Workinger, a passenger in the car, suffered a cut to her lip. Rhe was treated pt the Adams county memorial hospital and dismissed. The Workinger car was headed south on Mercer avenue and hit the Koeneman car, as he came off Grant street. Damage was estimated at S2OO to the Koeneman car and $175 to the Workinger vehicle. Koeneman will appear *in justice of the peace court tonight.
