Holiday On Ice To Return To Coliseum Popular Ice Show To Open October 9 FORT WAYNE, Ind. — Bigger and better than ever, the 1947 edition ot “Holiday on Ice” will play a six-day engagement at the Coliseum in Fort Wayne, beginning Tuesday night, October 9, according to Zollner Productions, Inc., sponsor of the ice extravaganza. The sparkling success of last year’s “Holiday,” which played before one sellout throng of nearly 8,000 and two other near-capacity houses, has led Zollner Productions officials to predict recordbreaking attendance for this year’s brief visit. — There will be eight performances during the six-day Coliseum run, with matinees (2:30 p.m.) Saturday and Sunday (October 13 and 14). Nightly shows will begin at 8:30 p.m. CDT, except Sunday’s second show which will start at 7:30. ’ ' One of the principal reasons for the optimism about this season's "Holiday” is the return of the amazingly popular comic, Paul (The Little Sailor) Andre, who was not with “Holiday" last fall. Andre’s mirthful escapades have made him the biggest hit in the show’s Fort Wayne history. Mail orders.for "Holiday” should be directed to the Zollner Ticket Office, Hotel Keenan, Fort Wayne. Ticket prices will be the same as in past years, $3, $2.50, |2 and 11.50. Stop That Cough USE “OUR O WN” COUGH SYRUP KOHNE DRUG STORE
