CLARA DEKONINCK wtoS FORMER DECATUR MAN _ ' Miss Clara Geriuaine Dekoninck became the bride of Bruce Edward Macy Saturday morning in the St. Rose Catholic church In Monroeville, with the Rev. Augdstyn Kondtiela officiating for the double-ring ceremony. « Parents of the bride are Mr. and Mrs. Al Dekoninck of near Hoagland and the bridegroom is the son of Mrs. Clarence Macy of Portland, formerly of Decatur. Mias Marguerite Dekoninck attended her liiater as maid-of-honor and bridesmaids were Mias Eloise Harber and Miss Margaret Van Den Bussche. Best man was Dale Dekoninck, brother of the bride, and guests were seated by Charles Dekoninck, brother of the bride, and Melvin Girtorin. cousin of the bridegroom. A, wedding dinner and reception were held at Hessen Cassel hall. Assisting with the serving were the Misses Luella Zelt, Margaret Minnich, Mary Beahrs and Shirley Sorg. „ The couple will reside at 314 West Hollis Lane in Fort Wayne. HOME DEMONSTRATION CAMP NEXT WEEK All county women planning to aten’s camp at Lake McClure, Autend the home demonstration worngust 16-18, are requested to forward their applications to the extension office as soon as passible. Anyone desiring to bring a woman friend along to the camp may do so. The women planning to attend the camp August 17 only are also urged to submit their names to the extension office as soon as possible.

This film has been wey received by both children and adults be cause of its beauty and unusual pictures of fish and animal life of the sea. Miss Betty Miller was the program leader. Polio Is Fatal To Young Girl In Gary GARY (UP) - Sandra Shipp. 7, died of polio today In Methodist hospital. The girl,. daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Vernon Shipp Jr., was admitted to the hospital Wednesday. Health authorities said they hope to give 10,000 Gary children Salk polio vaccine shots by next Tuesday. A public polio clinic to administer the free shots was opened Monday. —- Taylorsville Grain c Elevator Destroyed COLUMBUS. Ind. (UP) - A |25,000 fire destroyed a grain elevator today at Taylorsville, about five miles north of here. The 30.000 bushel elevator, believed the largest in Bartholomew county, was owned by Ralph Shyder. y Firemen worked for an hour and a half before the building burned to the ground. The fire broke out at about 10:30 a.m.
