Red Cross Profits From Boys' Circus Inspired by the recent appeals by the Red Cross for additional funds, two local boys created their own fund raising circus recently and proudly turned their proceeds over to Mrs. Wanda Oelberg at the 'local Red Cross office. ißingmasters of the affair were nine-year-old Norman Brokaw and Kenneth Uhrick. who is 10. Attractions were a cool aid stand, a popcorn stand, pony rides, and a "penny pitch,” all staged at the Luther Brokaw residence on route six. The 50 cents which they so eagerly gave, was issued as a special gift to the Red Cross, and the boys happily walked out. of the office with a receipt, made out to them, in the amount of 50 cents.

Teen-age Girl Dies As Auto Overturns ANGOLA, Ind. (UP) — A teenage was killed, and her two companions were Injured late Wednesday when their car failed to make a curve and rolled over on Ind. 1 about a mile north of Hamilton. The dead girl was Sandra J. Meyers, 13, Fort .Wayne. Injured were her -sister Sharon, 15, and the driver, Jerry Walker, 17, atao of Fort Wayne. Fort Wayne Youth Is Killed In Accident WATERLOO, Ind (UP) Karl L. Klein, 23, Fort Wayne, was killed late Wednesday in a head-on coilison with a truck on U.S. 6 about two mile* east of here. State police said Klein's car swerved into the opposite lane at high speed and crashed into truck driven by Dauglas V. Severson, 22, Greenwood, Wis. Severson was unhurt but a passenger in the truck, Neil Warrem 39, was injured. G. O. P. DELEGATES (Coeti»eed fre-w P—e O»e> _ nomination. Crow said he would give Fitsgerald 30 days “to enter motions to quash or any other appropriate motions.” The judge asked Fitgerald if he was agreeable to his ruling that newsmen could take pictures in the courtroom while the court was not in session. Both Fitzgerald and Hodge indicated they did not object. A 176-page “clean breast” statement by Hodge was read by Coutrakon to newsmen Wednesday. In it, Hodge admitted “100 percent responsibility" for a huge phony check scheme which Coutrekon said may involve more than one million dollars. Prosecutor Os ABC Resigns Position Gov. Craig Denies Resignation Forced INDIANAPOLIS (UP) — Glenn Funk resigned today as prosecutor of the Indiana alcoholic beverage commission. Funk said Governor Craig demoded his resignation., Craig said he didn't. The governor said Funk “is a good lawyer and he Will be asked to stay in the administration.” “This is not a political thing,” Craig said. It was the latest action in a series of investigations and orders involving the ABC, a state sgency which control* licensing ot all alcoholic beverage outlets in Hoosierlaud. « Funk was prosecutor the last < three years.
