Senators Beat Red Sox In Little League The Senators defeated the Red Sox, 11-4. Monday evening at the Homestead, as the Decatur Little League opened a heavy schedule of games for the final week of the sea sop. The Senators jumped otM - in front with five runs In the first inning on five walks, an error and McClure's single, the only hit of the inning. The Senators picked up more runs in ail other innings except the third, while the Red S<x scored twice ip the third and two more in the fourth. Games are scheduled every day this week to complete the season’s schedule. The card for the week follows: (All games after today at Worth man): Today—Yankees vs Tigers at Homestead. • Wednesday—Senatort v» Tigers and White Sox vs Indians. Decatur Plays : Bluffton Today In Meet Final Decatur and Bluffton Junior Anierican Legion teams will battle at 7:30 o’clock this evening at Worthman field for the southern division tourney title. In a first round game Monday night. Bluffton edged Geneva. 5-4, in eight innings to, advance to tonight’s final game. Geneva took an early 3-0 lead with three runs in the second inning on three walks, two errors and Dull’s single. Bluffton counted once in the third but Geneva countered with one in the fourth. Bluffton tallied twice in the fifth on a walk, hit and error and evened the score at 4-4 in the sixth, counting ita run on two errors and a wild pitch. Bluffton woa the game in the first extra inning on a walk, a hit and an error.
