RECENT MEETING IS HOLD BY HOME DEMONSTRATION CLUB Twenty-six members, two guests, and six children attended the meeting of the Friendship Village home demonstration club at the Kimsey school recently. The meeting was opened by having tire group repeat the club creed. Mrs. Floyd Meyer read the 23rd Psalm and Miss Donelda Marckel read the history of the song of the month. The leas on on "Civil Defense” was given by Mrs. Charles Shoaf and Mr#. Rurdge. Mrs. Carl Sehug. Mrs. William Neadstine and Mrs. Charles Shoaf gave a report on their trip to Purdue. It was announced that the club trip to the Smoky Mountains will be October 3 to 11. The next meeting bar been changed to August 15. Jesse Eckrote Dies At Hospital Monday Jesse Eckrote. 85. retired carpenter and farmer of Hartford township, died Monday at the Adams county memorial hospital following a heart attack. Surviving are four sons, John of Bluffton. Ralph and Raymond of Geneva, and Harry of Berne: a daughter. Mrs. Samuel Morgan of Geneva;, six grandchildren and four greatgrandchildren.
