Cassady To Meet Detroit Officials COLUMBUS, Ohio (UP) — How- 1 ard (Hopalong) Cassady,, Ohio State University’s two-time AllAmerica halfback, confers with Detroit Lions officials today about a contract for the coming National Football League season, Cassady is reported ready to sign a 115,000 pact. Receive Complaints Os Broken Windows Two complaints of broken windows in homes along the Mud Pike south of Decatur were reported To authorities this morning. Mrs. William (Pete) Meyer reported that some one threw a can through a window and JohifGirard told police that his large front window was broken with a~rock. The sheriffs department is conducting an investigation. Also reported to the city police department was the theft of a bicycle owned by Lester Haines of Decatur. The bicycle was taken from the city swimlmng pool Wednesday afternoon. Only minor damage was caused in an accident Wednesday in the 300 block of Monroe street.
