Major Shakeup In Diplomatic Posts New Ambassadors To Be Named By Ike WASHINGTON (UP) — Presldebt Eisenhower has ordered a major shakeup In this country’s top diplomats in the Middle East. He intends to name new ambassadors to Egypt, Greece, Morocco, the Union of South Africa. He also plans to replace George V. Allen as assistant secretary of state for Near Eastern affairs. Son. Walter F. George (D-Ga.) said today that his senate foreign relations committee was notified of the proposed changes last week. They must be confirmed by the senate. There was no immediate statement from either the White House br state department. But accordJ ,*ng to the senate notification, i these are the proposed changes: Raymond A. Hare, director general of the foreign service, to ► become ambassador to Egypt. He would replace ambassador Henry 1. Byroade who has held the post only a little more than a year.
