Kluszewskis Homer Leads Redlegs' Win By FRED DOWN (United Press Sports Writer) Ted Kluszew ski’s on a torrid home run binge today that's giving the already power-laden Cincinnati Redlegs an added wallop in their battle to hold first place in the tightly-bunched National League race. * “7u,' *ov«in>ttira fir»i-l>asem*u got off to a slow start — although his teammates hardly seemed to miss him — but he’s hammered ont seven homers in hi* last six games. Kluszewski kept the Redlegs in first place Friday night when he walloped a three-run homer in the fifth Inning that carried them to a 6-4 victory over the St Louis Cardinals and enabled him to tie Ernie Banks of the Chicago Cubs tor the National League lead at 21 each. The triumph left the Redlegs three points ahead of the Milwaukee Braves who beat the Chicago Cubs. 58, as Warren Spahn spun the 37th shutout of his career. , . • -.J,.
