Show Plastic Silo During Dairy Day sth Annual Program At Purdue July 20 An experimental plastic silo being tried for the first time will be shown to Indiana farmers who attend the fifth annual dairy day program- at Purdue University, Friday, July 20. D. L. Hill and B. 1. Walker, Purdue dairy research specialist*, will discuss methods of evaluating silages during the event which will open at 10 a.m. at the Purdue dairy center on Cherry Lane, West Lafayette. Other discussions and exhibits will center around recent developments in grain handling, best type of rations for calves, prevention of mastitis, birds foot treefoil, investment costs and management practices, and the reumen fistula cow.
