Reports from the wheat states indicate that the current crop will be down considerably. Some say ten to twelve bushels per acre will be commonplace duo to the inadequate-rain fall. If such is the -case. Mother Nature is again at work to level off the surpluses which have been of great concern to farm experts. Throughout history there has been a constant tendency to become alarmed at temporary fluctuations in production and oversupply. Perhaps we need to look more closely at the various cycles and learn that our economy usually takes good care of itself. Droughts, plant diseases and insects have a tendency to control supplies and when we add man-made dislocations, the perplexities of modern times may be intended to keep us. more alert -... 4 —-o— - - This corner has not yet been sold on the philosophy of Federal aid to education. Keep the car going.” — ■ "Cynthia, if the driver is rcaUy afraid," BruCe was beginning when his voice drowned in a sudden deluge of raip. Lt was like a cloudburst.
