Mrs. Neuenschwander and her accompanist. Nfiss Andrey Whithurst, assisted with the musical program during the Thursday desst on of the conference. Ihe Adams county chorus was given high recognition and praise on, their special number “Praise the Lord, Ye Heavens Adore Him." During the evening combined choruses presenled a musical program under the direction of Albert P. Stewart. . This program will be heard transcribed over radio station W.R.A.A. Tuesday morning a: 10:30 D.S.T. The group will also present a sacred program in the Coliseum at the state fair September 2. Billy Scott Appears At Moose Tonight Billy Scott, TV star, will appear in the floor show at the Moose lodge in this city tonight. He is seen daily with Sally Flowers on TV stations WLW-C and WLW-D. Billy and Sally are cow in their fifth year (over 1,000 shows) on ‘‘Meetin’ Time." Scott will appear here with his wife, Helen, formerly with the "Grand "Ole Opry” coast to coast show. In 1949 and 19S0 she toured Germany, Australia, France and Alaska entertaining American soldiers.
County Rural Youth Hear Greek Youth Exchangee Speaks To Rural Youthers The educational feature of the Adams county rural youth meeting Thursday evening st the Decatur Youth and Community Center was presented by George Stergiou, international farm youth exchange from Greece. During his speech and in thai question and answer period imi mediately following he answered questions on such topics as language, schooling, religion, farming, social life and government. The meeting was called to order by Earl Yoder, president. Gloria Crownover led group singing and Norma Jean Bailey gave devotions. During the meeting Yoder presented an honorary Adams county rural youth membership card to Stergiou. Shirley Noll, Tom Noll, Raymond Worden and Dallas Neuenschwander were placed on the 1957 Adams county rural youth club officers nominating committee. A committee was also appointed to select a date and make arrangements for the club’s annual one day outing to Pokagon state ;ark. The special feature of ths evening was a pie ala mode frolic with the girls of the ciub furnishing the pies. Rural youth members from Wells, Huntington and Wabash counties attended the ingFor recreation the group was invited to square dance with the Gals and Pals square dance chib, whose caller is Carl Geels.

Thompson, son of Mrs. Dorothy Thompson of Decatur, received his masters degree in business education from Harvard University, Cambridge. The commencement exercises took place in the outdoor Tercentenary Theater in Harvard Yard Thursday. John was among nearly 3000 students who received degrees from both the graduate and undergraduate schools. Diplomas were conferred by President Nathan Marsh Pusey. Mrs. Thompson and her mother attended the traditional ceremonies, which included the presence of the governor of (Massachusetts.
