During the meeting a contribution was made to the crippled children’* society. The group alao decided to purchase five student tickets tor the civic music concerto. A slate of officer* was presented to the group by Mrs. Louis Jacobs, chairman of the nominating committee. The next meeting will be a social meeting April 11, at the Youth and Cornmuniy Center. Parents of the couple are Mr. and Mrs. Cbcile Rexrode of Bartow, W. Va.. and Mr. and Mrs. Glbnh Bebout of Vau Wert, former residents of Decatur , Attending the couple were Mrs. Robert Hawkins and Jeek Monroe. The bride’s daughter. Pamela, served ns flower girl. David Hudson ot Van Wen and Allen Girod of Decatur were ushers. Approximately 85 guests attended the reception which was held in tire church social room. Servers included Mrs. Rope Crider and Mrs. colene Bowers. . - After the reception the couple left for a two week*' honeymoon in Florida. They Will make their home in Convoy. O. REGULAR MEETING HELD
BY CIVID DEPARTMENT A regular meeting was held by the Civic department of the Decatur Woman’s club Monday evening at the Youth and Community center. Mrs. Charles Magtey, president, presided over the business meeting. ** O. M. McGegth presented anjnt westing talk on various things that the Youth and' Community Center has done tor Decatur, A social hour followed and refreshments were served by the hostesses. the Mesdames E. Johnson. Phlt Macklin, Giles Porter. L. D. Bracey, and George Sguier. The Rose Garden club will meet .at the home of Mrs Alva Lawson Tuesday afternoon at 2 o’clock with Mrs. Clarence Smitiey as assisting hostess. Mrs. Alva Buffen burger will present the lesson and entertainment will be provided by Mrs. (Jrover Levy. Tuesday evening the Rose Garden club and the Decatur Garden club will see a movie on roses at the Youth and Community Center at 7 o’clock. Charles Kent. Decatur realtor, will bp the guest speaker at the general meeting of the Decatur Women's club Monday evening at 8 o’clock at the Youth and Community Center. Kent will use as hie stibject "Arthßa on a Rockpile," describing his bobby ot stone' cutting and polishing and jewelry making. The Art department of Woman’s club is in charge of Monday night's program. The Loyal Daughters clays of the Bethany E. U. B. ehutx-h will meet Tuesday evening at 7j 30 o’clock. Members are asked to note the change in date. The meeting will be held at the borne of Mrs. Eftrl Fuhrman with Mrs. Violet Boni fas assisting. x The Eagles auxiliary will hold a regular meeting and election of officers Tuesday evening at 8 o'clock at the Eagles hall The name of Norma Slusser was unintentionally omitted from the memorial services held recently by the auxiliary. ’ Members of the Research club are reminded of the guest luncheon Monday afternoon at 1 o'clock at the Masonic hull.
