S. — The Happy Hours Rink will be the scene of the skating party that the freshmen from Pleasant Mills are sponsoring. If apy of you late ones do not have your tickets, they can be purchased from any member of the freshman class. — P. M. H. S. — The members of the boys’ volleyball team will travel to Berne April 3. Playing on the team are Darvon Light, John Speakman, Dick Byer. Charles Wolfe, Larry Myers. Carl Sipe, Don Melchlng, ■ Lester Sheets, and Paul Butler. 1 All these boys are seniors and ■ they’re sure to do a swell job to bring the championship back to (P.M.H.S.

drive officially begins Match 24 and will end March 31. These kids are really working to get enough money to go on their class trip and P. M. H. S. wishes them the best of luck in all their efforts. — P. M. H. S. — The sophomores are sponsoring a bake sale March 31 at Schafer’s Store. The sale will be held from 9-12. This could save you busy housewives a lot otf work getting ready for all that flaster company. Instead of baking that big cake or those- several dozens of cookies, buy them at the sophomore bake sale. — P. M. H. S. — The members of the senior class took a Kuder vocational prefer; ence rating one day last week. Most of the class found that the test was very successful in finding what they were really interested In. — P. M. H. S. — Rev. Ralph Johnson, pastor of the Monroe Methodist Church, presented the message for the chapel services last week. Rev. Johnson told of his recept trip to Cuba and the 4-Teens favored the group with a song. It was a very interesting program. — P. M. H. S. — To the seniors, graduation time is just around the corner. S. — Today and Saturday will certainly be contest days for Centralites? Coming up are Northern Indiana industrial arts exhibit, and district muslcaT arid scholastic contests. Here's luck to the contending Centralites that they’ll show up well at the regionals—and possibly be honored to attend state competition! — A. C. H. S. — Though other contests won’t be until Saturday, today is the big day for many of Doyle Collier’s industrial arts pupils. This morning a truck loaded with projects left for Fort Wayne and the industrial arts exhibit at Purdue Center. Many boys who have finished their projects in time are entering articles. Ninth graders entering, and their projects are: Roger Schlickman, tool box; Terry Witte, gun tack; Evan Yoder, bench; Norman Hart, end-table; Max Egley Jerry Tharp, and David Solano, lemonwood bows;.j and Glen Haines, lamps.
