She was awarded a divorce and 25 per cent of the film actor's gross earning*. 9 (International J April 16 Deadline For Income Taxes Warning Issued By District Director With less than one month remaining before the deadline for filing of federal Income tax returns, an estimated 734,600 taxpayers have not yet prepared and filed their 1640's and 1040 A's, Gary Campbell, district director <rf the Indianapolis office said today. Only 235,550 returns had been received as of March 15, he revealed. The director urged taxpayers to get to work at once on preparing their 1955 returns. As time passes, he pointed out, it becomes increasingly difficult to collect all essential financial records of last yyear, redeipfed. bills, cancelled checks, and other papers which enable the taxpayer to prepare the most accurate type of return. In addition, the longer the taxpayer waits the more pressing becomes the obligation, and some essential entries may be overlooked or incorrectly entered. Mrs. McMahon will be Ruett of honor at a reception in Governor George N. Craig’s office Tuesday and also will be Indiana’s representative in the American mother of the year competition in New York next month. Mrs. McMahon's- husband. Harold, died last February. He first had married Mrs. McMahon's sister, Lura, who died, leaving two small children. Martha and Harold then wed, and in addition to rearing the children of her dead sister, they also reared five of their own. The committee noted that the

new Indiana mother had given all her seven- children an opportunity for a college education, musical training and religious background. Five of the children live In Noblesville — Edward, Earl and Harold McMahon. Jr.. Mrs. Robert Goodwin and Mrs. James Cook. Mrs. Lewis Douglass lives at Whitewater. Wls., and Mrs. George Wolverton, Clarksville, Ind.
