Special Operating Loans For Farmers Make Applications At Local Office Ezra Taft Benson, secretary of agriculture, has authorized special farm operating loans for eligible farmers in Indiana, Donald A- Norquest, county supervisor for the farmers home administration, said today, > The action was taken under public law 737, 83rd congress, as amended. The law provides for making special loans for agricultural purposes where there Is a need for agricultural credit that cannot be met for a temporary period from commercial batiks, cooperative lending agencies, the farmers home administration under its regular programs, or through other types of emergency loans. Applications for the loans can be made at the local County offices of the farmers home administration through June 30. The loan funds may be used to meet normal operating expenses, but not sos repayment of existing debts. The applicant must be primarily engaged in farming and
