Girl Scouts Girl Scout troop 21 met Monday after school. We divided into our patrol and took up dues. Mrs. May. our leader, told us about Giri Scout week and Girl Scout Sunday. which Is March U. Oar president, Mary Ann Holthouse, called the meeting to order and wo made the Brownie promise. After attendance and dues were take*, we discussed plans for attending church next Sunday. If any of as have outgrown our uniforms we are to wear dark skirts and white blouses- Next meeting we are to bring as many pennies as we are years old for the world fellowship fund. We are also giving |ls for the now shelter house. Mr. and Mrs. Richard Eh Inger and Mr. and Mrs. Tony Mettler have returned home after a month’s - vacation in Florida. y Stratton Place Board Favors Shelter House The board of directors of Stratton Place community association meeting Wednesday night at the Youth and Community Center voted unanimously to donate |5<N toward construction of a shelter house at the city park located in y Stratton Place. The donation will be offered to the city, provided the city council will furnish an additional 1215 to complete the 18 by 24 foot shelter. The building would be constructed so an addition can be made without damag•ing the original structure. The shelter house would be used -for picnics and other events staged at the park, which also has a children’s playground. The board also set up various Stratton Place committees for the 1956-5? -year. The association includes all residents of Stratton Place and Is the governing body of the home owners of that area. Rev.
