H. 8- — ' The bake sale the band held at Schaefer’s store last Saturday was highly aMOcessful. The band cleared ever fifty dollars. The profit from this sale went into a fund for band uniform-.' — P. M. H. S- — The band bag elected new officers ter the coming year. They are president, Lynn Mefferd; vice president. Dick Johnson; secre-tary-treasurer, Kay Van Over ; and publicity chairman, Marabelle Wolfe. Everyone feels sure that these people are very capable of handling the Jobs which have been givefe them ' — P. M. H. S. — No school last Friday beause of the icy roads and fog made everyone’s week-end a long one. No one really minded tt at all, though. -P. M.H. 8. - The Pleasant Mills Spartans ended up their regular season by a win over the Jefferson Warriors. The Spartans entertained the Warriors last Frida/ night The game was a very high scoring one with a total of over 150 points. Both teams were hitting very well and showed excellent sportsmanship — P. M. H- S. — The second team, wound up the season last Friday night with another victory added to their list too. The seconds ended up with 11 victories to their favor and only 8 losses. This was a fine team and they are to be commended. - P. M. H. 8. — Tickets for the sectional went on sale Monday to season ticket holders and on sale Tuesday to non-seasog ticket holddf|. Single
