which met recently at the Kimsey school wih 25 members, two guests, and 11 children present. The mating was opened by the president, Mrs. Carl Schug, at which time the creed waa repeated by the group. Devotions were given by Mrs. Floyd Myers and the history of the song of the month was given by Mrs- Norris Riley, who also led the group in singing a sbng. Verlin Geyer, and Mrs. Olive Hoblet. z \ RESEARCH CLUB HOLDS RECENT MEETING Mrs. N. A. Bixler was..hostess to the Research club Monday afternoon. Mrs. O. L. Vance, program leader for the afternoon, used as her subject "Women in Our Gov-ernment-Past and Present.” Mrs. Vance stated that one of the outstanding trends of the 20th century has been the departure from the traditional role in the home and the entry into worlds once reserved exclusively for men. A short business meeting was conducted by the president, Mrs.

E. H Cook, and the meeting was closed with a social hour. "MOAB" PRESENTED TO DECATUR WOMAN’S CLUB "Moab” which means fulfillment, was presented to the Decatur Woman’s dub by Mr. and Mrs. Herbert Storck of Fort Wayne, last evening at the general ineeting of the organization Which was held at the Youth and Community Center. "Moab" is a group of colored pictures of the Canadian Rockies, national parks, the United States Mormon, and Indian country. The beautiful colors of nature were brought out in these pictures as 'Mr. and Mfs. Storck and their family traveled throughout the various places of Interest. These pictures depicted the ordinary beauty which surrounds people in every day life. The program was sponsored by the Civic department of Woman’s Wub and Mr. and Mrs. Storck were introduced by Mrs. Lowell Smith. The committee included Mrs. Smith, chairman; Mrs. Frank Lynch, Mrs, Francis Ellsworth, and Mrs. Glenn Mauller.’ During the business meeting which was conducted by the president, Mrs. Roy Kalver, it was decided that the general meetings will be held at 8 o’clock fob the remainder of the year, instead of 7:45 o’clock. The minutes of the last meeting were read by the secretary, Mrs. Myles Parrish, who also read the correspondence. Mrs. IR. C. Hersh presented a report on the mid-winter conference of the Federation of Clubs which was recently held at 'lndianapolis.
