Landslide Causes Train Derailment Pennsylvania Slide Causes Train Wreck GREENSBURG, Pa. (INS) — A Cleveland to Baltimore passenger train struck a landslide that caused the derailment ot four puliman cars early today about six miles north of West Newton ia Westmoreland county. One passenger, James M. Stern, 84, of Pittsburgh, was injured. He la in McKeesport hospital with neck and back injuries. Four other passengers refused medical attention at McKeesport hospital and left without giving their names. There were between 100 and 150 passengers aboard. The railroad spokesman quoted the engineer ot the two-unit diesel J. E. Hinnish of Pittsburgh, as saying that he rounded a bend and saw that the tracks were buried beneath a mound of earth. Hinnish said that he could not stop in time. Heavy rains in western Pennsylvania the last 24 hours have been responsible for numerous landslides. A witness said that a boulder struck the last several cars on the No. 18 passenger train causing their derailment at Scotthaven. The three rear cars were knocked on their sides by the impact. Three
