(INS) — Purdue and federal agricultural economists have forecast farm prices running three to five per cent below 1965 figures. Officials said large storage stocks, large expected cron production and heavy livestock marketing probably will keep 1956 farm prices down that much at least.... : 'bOßts, on the other [hand, will run about as high as but prices for most industrially , item* Statisticians said farm programs will moderate the drop in farm prices and income but it is unlikely the programs will halt a further ' decline. They added that present indicaÜbns point to continued, business expansion for several months ahead. Personal .income seems likely to rise further in 1956 but at a slower rate. Milk production set an all-time record in 1955 but this is expected 1 to be topped In 1956. Egg prices through May are ex- ! pected to average as high or . slightly higher than during the . similar period of 1955. Lower feed prices will mean greater profits during this period. ' Marketable broiler supplies ’ through February will run approximately 30 percent above a year ago, however, stronger demand will keep prices during this period 1 from averaging more than two to three cents below a year ago. Julius Boros Top -- Golf Money Winner CHICAGO (INS) — Julius Boros of Kiamesha Lake, N. Y., was the top money winner of professional golfdom in 1955 with a whopping 363,121.55 in tournament prizes. ' The 37-year-old star was officially crowned by the Professional Golfer's Association Wednesday. Boros pocketed his biggest paycheck — $50,000 —for winning the 14th annual world tournament of golf at the Tam O’Shanter Country Club near Chicago last Aug. 14. ' Dr. Cary Middlecoff of Kiamesha Lake, N. Y-, earned $39,587.27 to finish second in the money ranks. Doug Ford, also of Kiamesha , Lake, was third with $33,503.92. Big Mike Souchak, Yormer Duke football star mined the fairways ' for $29,462.07 to place fourth and Gene Littler, 25-year-old former n»- ’ tional amateur champion was fifth with $28,974.42.
