The assisting hostesses were the Misses Rosemary Strahm, Shirley Sudduth, and Shirley Workinger. ’ Game were played and refreshments were served. Those attending included the Mesdames John Kelly, William Strahm, Paul Johnson, Sr., E. A. Crider, iR. O. Wynn, Robert Workinger, Lester Sautbine, Gene Johnson, Frank Moser, and the Misses Janice Kelly, Delia Brown, Bonnie Simmons, Charlotte Vera. Sharon Johnson, Nancy Cole, Catherine Ward, Gloria Fugate, Carolyn Johnson, Jean Ann Potts, Janice Johnson. Those unable to attend were the Mesdames Albert Swenson, John Chambers. David Embler, Sr., Max Millholland, Russel) Plumley, Max Andrews, and the Misses Carol Seitz, Rheta Butcher, Barbara Walters. Barbara Cole, and Naomi Wenger. CHRISTMAS DINNER IS HELD SATURDAY EVENING Mrs. Walter Krick was hostess Saturday evening to a three-course dinner at which the ladies of the court- house and extension office attended. The rooms and tables were decorated in keeping with Chirstmas. The group sang Christmas carols and Mrs. R D. Myers presented a Christmas story "Christmas at the Hermitage.” A Christmas contest was held and prizes were awarded to Anna Nesswald and Mrs. R. D. Myers. S. of the Trinity E. U. B. church will meet tonight at the church at 7:30 o’clock Mrs. Harry Brown, will be the leader. The V. •f. W. fathers auxiliary will bold a business and social meeting at the post home Thursday evening at 8 o'clock. This is an important meeting and members are urged to attend. Members are reminded to attend the Christmas dinner and party for the V- F-'W. post, auxiliary, and their families, Sunday, December 18, beginning at 12 noon. Members are asked to bring a covered dish and a small gift tor each child they bling. The Evangeline circle of the Zion E. and R. church will with Mrs. Gene Bedwell Wednesday evening with a pot luck supper beginning at 6:15 o’clock.
