Geneva Man Injured When Aulo Hits Bus Stopped Bus Struck • In Rear By Auto John Romey, 36, ,of Geneva route one, was slightly injured in an accident at 6:15 pm. Tuesday , six miles north of Decatur on U.S. highway 87. , Romey, who- was driving south, . crashed into the rear bt an A.B.C, bus which had stopped in front of St. John's church to discharge a passenger. The bus was driven by Alfred W. Biberstein, 28, of Fort Wayne. Romey was taken to the Adams county memorial hospital, where he was treated for a alight chest injury and cuts on his face. He was/released a short time later. Edwin H- Jacobs, the passenger , who was getting off the bus, was knocked off his feet but was not injured. Damage was estimated at *SOO to the car and *SO to the bus. I State troopers Gene Rash and > Dan Kwasneski and sheriff Merle Affolder. who investigated, stated that the car skidded 90 feet before , hitting the bus. The farm was purchased by Mr. and Mrs. tvan Byer andMr; and' Mrs. Lester Davis of Warsaw. Mrs. Byer and Mrs. Davis are daughters of the late .Mr. Morrison. C. H. Muselman.
