Urges Tattooing To Show Blood Type CWICaAO (IN4> —Dr. Frank B Beery, of Waahihgton, assistant secretary of defense, has urged universal tattooing of every person to indicate his bleed type. He told the 41st clinicel Congress of the American College of Surgeon® in Chicago Thursday that tattooing is necessary to insure proper treatment, including transfusions of the injured, or in the event of widespread disasters. Former Sheriff Os Van Wert Co. Dead Anthony L. Fleck, 83. of Ohio City, O.; former »heriff of Van Wert county, died euddenly Thursday in the Van Went county hospital. He was a hay dealer prior to serving as sheriff from 1927 to 1831. Surviving are his wife, Laima; a daughter, Mrs. Richard Oreenewald„ Vu W«rt; one grandchild and two great-grandchlkfreii. Clendenen Is Taken By Death John Riley Clondeaoa. 88, retired Adams county farmer, died Tharsday at the Hoom of a daughter, Mrs. Rath Jenner la Muncie Also surviving are a son. Paul of Fort Wayne; three other daughters, Mrs Mary Baumgartner and Mrs. ’William Oberlin of Fort Wayne, and Mrs. Harry Moser of Geneva; 15 grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be held at 2 p. m. Saturday at the Hardy & Hardy funeral home at Geneva, the Rev. A. B. McKain officiating. Burial will be in Brown cemetery.
