Brooks Store Will Open On Wednesday A new retail store. “Brooks, For Men and Boys,’’ will formally open its doors Wednesday morning, it was announced today by Barney Brooks The new store is located at 133 North Second street. Featuring nationally advertised men's and boy’s wear, sports clothes for all occasions, shoes and all clothing accessories, the new' store building has been completely remodelled with latest type of fixtures and a new modern front. Brooks will be open all day Wednesday and Wednesday night, all day Thursday and Saturday night during the opening week, it was announced. Many special items will be featuring during the opening. Most of the merchandise will be in the popular price range and included in the clothing accessory department will be such items as shirts, ties, handkerchiefs, gloves and similar items. The new store is located in the north half of the building occupied for many years by the Economy Store.
