(INS) —A husky Fore River shipyard worker, enraged over impending divorce action, today knifed his estranged wife. Then, while their terrified children looked on. he slashed bin throat before wandering off in the woods where he hung himself. State troopers found* the still warm body of Joseph H. Douglas. 43, who had been living jn a furnished room in Quincy, hanging from a tree limb by his shirt and belt. They had followed a trail of blood for a mile from the family home on Summer St., in Norwell where his wife, Edna, 40, suffered knife wounds in the abdomen, aipts and chest. . . , Police said Douglas came to the house, and on his demands, the brave- mother left her five children and went into the yard to discuss the divorce action, oply to be felled by repeated knife thrusts. The furious battle was witnessed by a daughter, Judy, I's, who courageously drove her father off and shouted she was going to caU.the police. Mrs* Douglas was taken to South Shore hospital, Weymouth, where doctors said her condition was fair and that she probably would recover. . i.i:«; ti. mih'lck Notice is hereby given that the co-partnership heretofore exlatjng between .Jack E.
