Talking Mule Here Sunday And Monday

One of America’s modt popular characters, "Francis," the talking mule conies to the Adams theater Sunday and Monday for his annual visit. He will be seen in the hilarious comedy, “Francis in the Navy,” which in addition to the gabby quadraped i£ars Donald O’Connor and Martha Hyer. An interesting addition to the same program is a featurette entitled "Assignment Children" starring Danny Kaye. The story of the old West’s most fabulous lawman, Wyatt Earp, is brought to the screen in “Wichita” coming to the Adams Tuesday. Wednesday and Thursday. Joel McCrea has the leading role and included in the cast are Vera Miles, Lloyd Bridges and Walter Ford. The king-size production was filmed in Cinemascope aud Technicolor. The historic Seminole wars provide the theme for the next Friday and Saturday offering at the Adams. The picture, “Seminole Uprising" recreates the struggle between the Indians and the U. S. Cavalry. George Montgomery plays a young army officer and Karin Booth is also s;arred in this exciting Technicolor production.
