(International) French Leaders To Discuss Statement Approval Sought Os Status In Morocco PARIS (INS)—French premier Faure was expected to summon his cabinet council sometime today to approve a govern ment statement on the status of future France-Moroccan relations. The declaration reportedly will affirm France’s intention to give Morocco home rule while retaining only those prerogatives France secured under international treaties such as defease -and diplomacy. Faure’s office said the time of the council meeting still was not set. The cabinet council differs from a full cabinet meeting in that Faure presides instead of President Rene Coty. Meanwhile, it was disclosed that Spanish objections to the exile in Tangiers of Moroccan Sultan Sidi Mohammed Ben Moulay Arafa contributed to the delay in the sultan’s ouster. Spain is one of the nations in control of the -international zoift of Tangiers. It is feared the sultan may also cause unrest there. Foreign minister Antoine Pinay conferred with Spanish ambassador Count Casa Rojas Wednesday and reportedly succeeded in overcoming the Spanish objections.
