Os course the streets will have to be cleaned ahead of the parade or It probably would make too much dust. -—o o-— A small item appeared in several Indiana newspapers Thursday which stated that a group of prominent Indiana lawyers was assigned by the state bar association to study the Indiana Justice of Peace system and the methods of operation of Justices of the Peace. would be glad if the parking meter funds were used tor their aid Instead of being used to buy a broom. This is the junket season for congressmen and senators and the signs indicate that during the next five months, few statesmen will remain at home. They will travel to the far corners of the world ostensibly to familiarize themselves with world conditions. They don't have to account for expenses, which makes it extremely comfortable for them. All they have to do is relax and enjoy themselves. Os course there are a few who will stay home and work hard but most of them will be on the go. 0 o We join the happy congregation of Nuttman Avenue United Brethren in Christ church in welcoming hack for a third year the Rev. Paul Parker, pastor ot that Church. Rev. Parker was returned by recent action of his Church conference. During his tenure at the local Church, that congregation has constructed a new parsonage near the Church. The Parker family fits well into the Decatur way of life and we are glad that we have such fine people as citizens and neighbors. ——io 0k— Donald Snyder of Warsaw, was driving a truck through Ohio - ” Wednesday night when it swerved into a ditch, ran 100 yards and struck a power pole knocking it over.
