Mrs. Lyklns gave the lesson study on India. A duet was tben presented by Glenn Habegger and Orval Mitchell. The theme of the program was medical missions. The meeting was closed with prayer. Stevenson Answer Slated In November To Disclose Plans For 1956 Campaign CHICAGO (INS) — Adlal Stevenson will disclose before the end of November whether ho plana to become the 1956 Democratic presidential candidate. The unsuccessful 1954 nominee made his announcement at an informal dinner for newsmen Wednesday night in Chicago. There were reports that Stevenson already has decided to run again but wants to make the disclosure at a SIOO a plate Democratic fund raising dinner Nov. 19. But the Democratic party loader dodged a question to,that effect. In considering, his future plans, Stevenson said, his decision will bs based on wbat is best for the Democratic party and the country rather than what is good for him personally. Bean, unsuccessful Republican candidate for county clerk in the 1952 general election, is presently employed at the Decatur Casting Co. William Schumacher, of Decatur, underwent major surgery at the local hospital Wednesday morning and his condition is reported as satisfactory. His room number is 309. Three Arrests Are Reported By Police Three arrests, one a double-head-er, and one minor] accident were recorded by the city police Wednesday. Harold Dellinger, Wiltshire, Ohio, was arrested on two counts, one of Improper registration and another of permitting an unlicensed driver to operate a vehicle. He was fined $1 anil costs on each charge, totaling $31.50. Earl Brodbeck. Jr., also from AVillshlre, was arrested for impro-. per registration and the case was continued indefinitely. Joseph Szuk, Columbus, Ohio, was arrested for speeding on Mercer avenue and fined $1 and costs, amounting to
