The dance, being sponsored by all Decatur sororities, will be open to the public and will start at 9:30 o’clock, Tuesday night. June 31. The personnel of the famous dance band includes Hod Kreigh, vibes; Clifton Humphreys, drums; Bob Sephel, bass; Pershing Adams, vocalist: Bill Luhman, piano, and Everett Tinkle, trumpet. In addition. Charley Powell, well known radio and television artist, will appear with the band. Powell is a well known pianist and vocalist pnd he will join the orchestra at a special piano. He also will sing several feature songs. Tickets can be obtained from a member of any Decatur sorority or at the door the night of the dance. Many special features are planned.

Children Program At Pleasant Dale To Present Program On Sunday Evening The program for children's day at the Pleasant Dale Church of the Brethren Sunday at 7:30 p.m. has been announced. It will open with congregational singing, followed by scripture reading by Robert Nussbaum and prayer. The nursery class will present the welcome and song. Earl Caston Heads North Conference The Northern Indiana conference of the national association of bank and comptrollers held their annual meeting with election of officers at the Colonial Hotel on Lake Manitou near Rochester, Thursday evening. Earl M. Caston, assistant cashier of the First State Bank, Decatur, was elected president of the conference which covers the entire northern area of the state. Elmer C. Schmeling, auditor oi the Lincoln National Bank & Trust Company of Fort Wayne, was elected vice-president and Warren T. Jens wold, auditor of the American Trust company, South Bend, was elected secrea-tary-treasurer. Following the election. 190 members and in attendance enjoyed an hour of entertainment. The monthly meetings will be resumed in September after a two months recess.
