Miss Dorothy Doe hr mon Is Highest In Exam . Mi sb Betty Doehrman, Decatur route one, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. E. C. Doehrman, a recent graduate of Hoagland high school and valedictorian of her class, received a new honor tW« week. Miss Doehrman was notified that of more than 10,000 Indiana students who took a Purdue Universijy scholarship examination, she emerged with the highest grade. Miss Doehrman is planning on entering Purdue next fail to take an engineering course. Decatur Physician To Hunt In. Africa Dr. Arthur Girod, Decatur physician, is planning to participate In an African game hunt this summer. Dr. Girod will leave Decatur about mid-July and will be gone for about three and a half weeks. The hunting trip itself, which will take place in Northern Rhodesia, Africa, will last for two weeks. The hunt will be for wild buffalq and elephants. This will be the first big game hunt in which Dr. Girod has participated.
