New Poultry Station Planned At Purdue WASHINGTON (INS) —Tht agriculture department reports that a new state federal poultry station will be ready to go Ino operation at Lafayette, Ind., later this year. The plant, on land provided by Purdue university, is part of a regional breeding project with 12 states cooperating in an overall attempt to improve poultry quality and productiveness. The station will have a capacity for brooding 15.000 chicks, a laying capacity for 5,00 birds and breeding capacity for 1,000.
