Hoosier Confesses To Murdering Wife Frankton Man Is Held At Cincinnati CINCINNATI (INS) — A S»-ye*r-old Frankton. Ind., man today walk* ed ipto Cincinnati police headquar t«r» to confess the murder of hie wife at tb»' time she was being buried. Robert Lee Neff surrendered himself with the flat statement, “I killed my wife.” At the same time, his wife, 22-year-old Vera Neff, mother of a one-year-old child, was being buried at the couple’s home town of Frankton. Neff told Cincinnati police that he went home last Saturday morning in “an intoxicated condition*' and found his wife with another) man. He said the man fled but that he beat his wife and left her in an unconscious condition. Meanwhile, sheriff Joe Brogden of Madison county in Anderson, Ind., told Cincinnati police that Neff was wanted for first degree murder. He described the beating “as one of the worst I'yn ever seen . . . there was blood all over the house.’* * Sheriff Brogden, who left immediately to pick up Neff, said the fugitive had called former Frankton marshal Jim Lennen this morning and was advised to give himself'up "wherever you are.” He said Neff refused to disclose his whereabouts except to say he was "several hundred miles away.” Dr. A. F. Weyerbocher Dies At Indianapolis INDIANAPOLIS (INS) — Funeral services will be held Thursday morning in Indianapolis and in the afternoon in Boonville for Dr. Arthur 'F. Weyerbacher, 70, noted Indianapolis retired physician who died Monday. Burial also will be in Boonville, -where he was born. Dr. Weyerbacher won an international reputation for treatment of venereal diseases. He was treasurer of the Indiana state medical association for 17 years, a former member of the Indianapolis boadd of health and a medical corps major in World’War I.
