Hold Safety Meeting At Monroe Friday “ Trooper William Hunter, safety education officer of the Indiana state police attached to Ligonier post, will present a special interest lesson on ‘Traffic Rules” Friday, This is an open meeting for anyone interested and will be held at the Farm Bureau building in Monroe from l.bS to 3:15 p. m. New Modern Front Installed By Store A new modern front is being installed this week for Blackwell’s department store In the K. of C. building on Second street. The work will be completed In the next 10 days, Ed Langhorst, co-owner, stated. The front, which will be completely modernised, will feature a larger entrance and two display windows. The store is operating with regular hours and the Second street entrance is not closed to patrons. There also is an entrance on Madison street. Counsel Appointed For Leroy Sprunger Attorney Hubert R. McClenahan was named pauper counsel for Leroy Clinton Sprunger, 18, of route two, who was arraigned Monday afternoon in Adams circuit court on a charge of entering to commit a felony. Sprunger was placed under a SSOO bond and remanded to the Adams county jail after the charge was read and his constitutional rights were explained by Judge Myles Parrish. The charge against him carries a prison sentence of from one to 10 years. The youth was arrested Sunday morning by sheriff Merle Affolder, who saw him enter the Henry Macke farm residence on route two. Sprunger has admitted entering the house three times and taking several small items from the home. ’
