Adams Central Net Schedule - Is Announced Don Arnold, coach of the Adams Central Greyhounds, today announced a complete 18-game schedule for the 1955-56 basketball season for the Greyhounds. Adams Central has been admitted into membership in the Eastern Indiana conference, effective next season, and has six loop games on the schedule. Two new teams have been added to the schedule, the Berne Bears and Union Center of Wells county. The Greyhounds will open their schedule Nov. 4. entertaining the Geneva Cardinals at Adams Central. dbach Arnold will lose three regulars by graduation this spring, alt valuable men, to Rod Beer, John Rowdon and Dick Rumple, but will have a good hucleus around which to build next season. Ist Little League Tryouts Will Be Held Here Sunday The firn in a series of tryouts for Little League baseball candidates Will be held at Worthmail field Sunday afternoon at 1 o'clock, it was announced today by Gehe Rydell, president of the Decatur Little League. Deane Dotwih, player agent, will conduct the tryouts. Bunday s initial tryout Will be only tot those boys who were bn teams in the Little League or the fam league last season, and are still within the league age limits. Doan. A contract was received today from a contracting firtn in ROckford, Ohio, for the drilling of a new city well. The hew Well Will be located in the northwest Corner of the city. Also underway is the inspection and cleaning of the three wells how running. The first load of black top used for patching the city streets was received today. The weather has been working against the street department lately and has made it impossible until now to begin patching.
