Annual Borrowers Meeting Held Here Annual Meeting Is Held Here Recently The annual farm ownership borrowers meeting was held at the C. L. of C. reception room of the K. of C. building recently. A group of Z 2 persons were in attendance with -Mr. Oiliman of the eoil conservation office, Mr. Juillerat. county committeeman of Jay county, and the county office personnel. The early morning hour was spent in a "coffee hour" with the Ifamßies getting At 10:30 the official meeting was vailed to order by Donald Norquest, county supervisor, who discussed statistical information supplied by 1« borrowers’bn "Observations of Records Kept By Borrowers." Each borrower was furnished with his own records as compared with the average of years 1946 through 1954. Three new borrower families have been added to the list this year, but because of their recent entranee into the program their records will not be available until the close of 1955. Prior to the noon lunch, two duets with violin and piano by Rita and Carol Norquest, daughters of Mr. and Mrs. Donald Norquest, were enjoyed. A pot luck dinner was served to

the members present. In the afternoon, time was devoted to various means and methods of-supplementing farm income with off-farm income. Several good suggestions were- exchanged with borrowers and count supervisor agreeing that farm work should not be neglected for cash income of this kind. Suggestion as to whether to have another meeting next year was left up to the group with no definite decision reached. A ‘KJet-Well-Card" autographed by all of the members was sent to Laurell Wygant, who is in the hospital. Also an autographed ‘ Congratulatory Card” was sent to Mrand Mrs. Dyson who were the

The service made 1,340 assignments of nurses to disaster relief operations and had 8,300 authorized instructors for home nursing.
