Two Minor Accidents Reported By Police City police investigated two minor accidents in Decatur Saturday. A car driven by Emanuel Russell, 3.2, of Chicago, 111., hit into the lear end of a vehicle driven by Mary Louise Pysey. 36, of Geneva, at 2:45 p. m. Saturday. The Pusey car had stopped at the corner of Monroe and Second streets and Russell could not stop In time to avoid a collision. About damage was done to the Pusey vehicle. The other accident occurred at , 4 p. m. Saturday at the intel-sec-tion of Madison and an alley in the 300 block. Richard D. Archer;: 34, of Decatur, wag coming out of the alley. His vision was obsecured by parked cars and he struck a car driven by Joseph Leo Braun, 25, of Decatur. Damage to the Braun car was estimated at $35. ANNIVERSARY HWtnniwl from Page One) that the display may be arranged. Chairman Ziner announced that the anniversary celebration of the Chicago club, where Rotary was founded in 1905, will be televised by CBS from 10:30 to 11 o’clock Wednesday night. cutTnTncome (Continued from Page One) that the with the President's blessing, cut taxes last year even though the budget was even farther out of balance than it is now. What's more, the Democrats charged, the Republicans gave most of the reduction benefits to high income taxpayers rather than to those in the low-brackets. The Democratic plan would give a taxpayer a credit of 20 dollars for himself and each dependent. The credit would be subtracted from the final tax bill, beginning with 1956 taxes. In other words, if a married man with two children figured his tax bill to Uncle Sam at $650, he w.ould subtract 80 dollars (20 for himself and each dependent) and pay the government 1570. A single man with the same tax bill would pay the government $630. The measure was designed to help particularly those with fairly low income and large families. Under the proposal, an estimated four million taxpaying families would no longer be required to . pay any federal taxes at all.
