by Mrs. Ray Moser and Mrs. Helen Jonee. REBEKAH LODGE INSTALL OFFICERS Formal installation of officers was held by the Olive Rebekah Lodge number 86, Tuesday evening at the I. 0. O. F. hall. Mrs. Nora (Glendening of Geneva, district deputy president of 31, and her staff were in charge of the impressive ceremonies. Mrs. Georgia Kreigh was installed as noble grand and Mrs. Evelyn Plasterer as past noble grand. Other officers ilnXalted were Mrs. Nancy Lengerich, Mrs. Clara E. Drum, Mrs. Clara Meyers, Mrs. Melvena Reed, Mrs. Anna Hancher, Mrs. Olive Kreigh, Mrs. Helen Uechty, Mrs. Opal Myers, Miss Laura Stanley, Mrs. Mildred Keller, Mrs. Mary Dixon, Mrs. Lois Hamrich, Mrs. Leatha Sowards, Mrs. Vera Gause, and Mrs. Ruflne Roth. Members participated in the Maxell of'Dimes, the community project for the year. Mrs. Clara Drum won the door prize. During the social hour refreshments were, served by the committee. KIRKLAND LADIES CLUB IN MEETING . “Social Security” was the topic used by Mrs. Albert Beineke for the meeting of the Kirkland Ladies club Tuesday evening in the home economics room of the Adams Central School. The ‘meeting was called to order by the president, Mrs. Floyd Erhman, who led the group in repeating the creed and reading the club commandments. Mrs. Noah Arnold gave a short history and led the group in singing the song of the month. The business meeting consisted of the reading of minutes, resolutions, and treasurer’s report. The committee in charge of the February meeting, to be held Feb. 22. announced a 25-cent handerchief Valentine exchange. During the social., hour contests, were conducted by Mrs. Ed Kolter and refreshments were served to 34 members and one guest present. Hostesses for the evening were the newly elected offlcrs, Mrs. Erhman, Mrs. Franklin Fruchte, Mrs. Ed Kolter, and Mrs. William Sowards. Mrs. Russell Baker, a guest, also assisted the hcM.esses in serving. BIRTHDAY DINNER IS HELD SUNDAY A birthday dinner was held Sunday at the home of Mrs. A. D. Crist to honor Forest Andrews of Monroe who was 90 years of age January 25. The following children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren were present: Mrs. J. C. Rich, Miss Jeanett Rich, Mr. and Mrs.-Harold Andrews, Kathy and Sherry Andrews. Miss Diana Crist, George Morgan of Fort Wayne, Mr. and Mrs. Charles Andrews and Ross, Mr. and Mrs. Charles Dennis and Cindy of Ossion, Mr. and Mrs. Nussbaum and family of fierne, Mr. and Mrs. Martin Huffman, Mr. and Mrs. Doyle Huffman and family. Mrs. A. D. Crist, and the honored guest. A son, Hobert Andrews of Columbus, O. visited with his father Saturday to wish him a happy birthday. The Fairway Restaurant was the scene of a spcial dinner held by the Delta Theta Tau sorority Tuesday evening. Each place was marked with a China cruet. Committee for the evening. Mrs. Elmo Smith presided during a short business session which was followed with a sqcial hour. Prizes were won by Mrs. Ed Berlhig, Mrs. Beu Biting and Mrs. Rose Lpshe. Doc prize went to Mrs. Paul Briede.
