The guests attending enjoyed a supper and Christinas exchange. Those attending Included Marilyn Kirchenbauer, Carolyn McDougal, Greta Erekson, Joyce Franklin, Madeline Friend, Janet Hetrick, Mrs. Janet Manns, Marlene Snyder, Carol Seitz and Janet Everhart. MISS KAY CLOUSE IS WED TO JAMES ACHESON Miss Kay Clouse, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Dale Clouse of Willshire, O„ was married Dec. |9 to Janies Edward Ayheson, son of Mr. and Mrs. C. E. Acheson of Fort Recovery, O. The Rev. James R. Hipkins read the double-ring ceremony in the Willshire Methodist church. Mrs. Carrol Geissler, organist, and Mies Peggy Clouse, vocalist, presented the nuptial music. • The bride those a gown of Chantilly laee'and nylon tulle over satin. Her fingertip, veil- -was- of tulle with lace trim and she carried an orchid on a white Bible. Mrs. Robert P. Baird attended as matron of "honor in a gown of pink and blue net over blue, satin. Pink roses and a pink veil formed her headpi«Ee. Her bouquet was a colonial arrangement of pink carnations and fern. Bridesmaids were Miss Susie Caffee and Miss Donna Mae Bienz. They were attired In gowns of pink net over pink satin with headpieces and bouquets like the honor attendant. . Brenda Jordon was flower girl in a pink organdy frock. She carried a basket of pink carnations. - Best man was A/3c John Anderson, quests were seated by Ronald Acheson and Charles Acheson', brothers of the bridegroom. Bobbie Joi don was ring bearer. The mothers of the bridal couple were both attired in mauve pink with black accessories and corsages of pink carnations. Serving for the reception at the home of the bride’s parents were Miss Donna Mae Bienz, Miss Susie Caffee, Miss Rosemary Ross and Miss Peggy Clouse. The reception table was centered with a three-tier pink and white wedding cake. White candles flanked the cake. Attending the leeeption were 95 guests. . - y_.. For traveling the bri& changed to a grajr suit black and pint accessories and the bridal orchid. When they return Mr. and NJrs. Acheson will reside at Decatur route three. The bride Is a graduate of Willshire high school and a student at International College in Fort Wayne. A graduate of Fort Recovery high school, M-r. Acheson isassociated with his father in the construction’ business. The Union township Home Demon ration c’ub will have a ■Christmas party at an all day meeting Wednesday at the home of Mrs, Ivan Barkley. The meeting will feature a carry-in dinner at nmand a sistas will be revealed. >—'Members of the Rebekah lodge will meet at the 1. O. O. F. hall Tuesday at 7:30 p. m. A meeting of the Three Link club which will feature election of officers will follow. Girl Scout troop four will have a holiday skating party at the Happy Hour skating link at Clem's lake Tuesday from 7 o’clock to 9 o’clock. . The regular meeting of the Pythian sisters will take place Monday at 7:30 p. m. at the K. of P. home. A social hour will follow.

Funeral servic.es will be held at Trinity EUB church at Van Wert Friday for-Roy D. McGowen, former county- commissioner and a former township trustee, who died suddenly Tuesday evening. He was 75 years old and is survived by the widow and eight children. Mis. Mmnie Teeple of Decatur and Mr; and Mrs. Max Teeple of Bluffton attended the open house of the Bruce Rutledge home in Bowling. Green. 0., last weekend. The boy weighed five pound#, 11 ounces. A boy weighing seven pounds, 14 and half ounces, was born at 2: Iff a.m. today to Mr. and Mrs. Herbert Hart of Bryant. Mr. and Mrs. Victor Porter of Decatur are the parents of a boy born at 11:05 a.m. and weighing six pounds. 14 ounces.
Silver Dollars Gift To Casting Workers The Decatur Casting Co. presented Its employes with a Christmas gift of silver dollars in addition to the Christmas food basket and picnic ham. in ceremonies at the close, of operations this afternoon. Distribution of the baskets has been a yearly event since 1940 and the silver dollars "started rolling” for Christmas of 1948. The latter distribution is based on length of continuous service with the company, starting with one dollar for those with less than six months of service. Those with six months or more of continuous service received five silver dollars, plus one dollar for each additional year of service. The maximum gift was |39 and the average gift was sls, representing an average of eleven years service for the group. More than 31,300 was distributed. . The silver dollars were enclosed in individual money bags, with the presentation for the company by H. E.
