Hunting Charge Is Continued tn Court A charge against Lawrence Boerger in justice of the peace court for hunting raccoons without a license was continued indefinitely while conservation officer Jack Hurst searches for the law coverihg the question. Boerger admitted that his IL cense had expired, but stated that be had misread the license, and had thought that the 5-4 on it had been for the year it was issued, rather than for his height of five feet, four inches. He also contend ed that he had no gun, .and was merely accompanying another man who was coon hunting. Officer Hurst stated that it was against the law for any person in a coonhunting party not to have a license, but could not find a paragraph in the law to back him up. Justice of the peace Floyd Hunter stated that he would continue the case until the law officer could prove that the law had been violated. Boerger had been apprehended the night of December 16.
