Eagles Beaten By Huntington Catholic Five : r The Monmouth Eagles faded in the final quarter to suffer theii second defeat of the season Wednesday night, the Huntington . Catholic 'Ramblers coming with a rush for a 50-39 triumph at Hunt ington. The teams were tied at the first quarter. 13-13, but Monmouth led at the half, 21-19, and at the third period, 34-31. The Ramblers, however, limited the Eagles to only five points in the final quarter while scoring 19. Fisher of Huntington led all the scorers with 20 points, while Stew Schnepf was the only Eagle in double figures with 14 markers. The Eagles have two games away from home next week, at Hoagland Friday night and at Rockcreek Saturday. (INS) The Fort Wayne Pistons complete a busy halfweek Saturday and Sunday. * Saturday, the Zs meet the world champion Minneapolis Lakers in a nationally televised game and Sunday afternoon they play the Milwaukee Hawks. Wednesday the Platons lost to Philadelphia Warriors at Hershey, Pa., and Thanksgiving night they defeated the Baltimore Bullets. Predict Light Snow To Fall In Indiana CHICAGO INS) — The United States weather bureau In Chicago reported that snow spreading southeastward into Minnesota and ,lowa this morning will spread into most of upper Michigan, Wisconsin, Illinois, lower Michigan and Indiana tonight. . The forecast said accumulation of two to five inches of new snow can be expected in northern Minnesota eastward into the northern Great Lakes region. * South of this area, snow will gradually change to rain and any snow accumulation is expected to be quite light. For Indiana, the snow and rain mixture is expected to hit the northern and eastern portions.

Acquit Woman Os Narcotics Charge INDIANAPOLIS (INS) — Mrs. Esther Irene Smith, 42, is free today of a federal charge of unlawful possession of narcotics. A federal court jury acquitted the woman after deliberating nearly seven hours on Thanksgiving Day. The defense was aided materially by the confession of a convict, David H.
