confirm existence of the Atlas, which the magazine said is a rocket-powered missile made by Convair. It would not comment on the listing of the Navaho as having intercontinental' range. The listings were in a tabulation labeled "America’s Missile Arsenal,” and gave no Indication of whether the mistrtteq have reached production or are still under development. ’ No mileage figures were given but presumably "intercontinental" would mean ,a range of upwards of 6,000 miles — the round trip range of the B-36 plane which is considered the nation's only intercontinental bomber. ' Ths publication also listed 22 Russian missiles, including one with a range "said to be 3,100
