HARTFORD CITY LODGE HOSTESS TO MEETING The Century Rebekah lodge No. 394 of Hartford City will be hoetee» to the fall meeting, of district No. 31, composed or Adame, Wells and Blackford counties, Wednesday, eptember 29, to 'be held at the I, O. O. F. hall at Hartford City. * 'i'hb meeting will start at 2 o’clock. Ail district officers and committee member* Are to dress formal. The district deputy president, (Mrs. Dorothy CoHright of Hartford City, will preside at the afternoon session. I.Mrs. Lela B. Sfaugart, past president of Rebekah assembly, will conduct the school of instruction. Trophies will be awarded to the lodge having the largest percent of members present and the lodge having the greatest percent of gain in its membership* The banquet will be served at 6:30 p. m. in the Methodist church. Promptly at 7 o’clock the Century Rebekah lodge will conduct a consecration service. Following the dinner, president Mary Jane Runyon introduced Mrs. 'Mabel Murray, who showed slides of her trip to Europe and told many interesting facts about the trip. The Ladies Eagles auxiliary will have a meeting at 8 o'clock Tuesday evening at the Eagle 3 hall. Mrs. Fanny Christen will be hostess to the opening meeting of the Historical club Wednesday with a potluck dinner at 12 noon. The committee in charge will furnish meat, rolls, and coffee. Youth Is Released After Questioning Decatur police picked up a -Decatur youth this morning at 6 o’clock and held him for questioning In an armed robbery reported in the Fort Wayne area by the Allen county sheriff* office.
