Two Are Fined In Mayor's Court Here John P. Huser, of Berne, was arrested yesterday by the city police for speeding 50 miles an hour on thirteenth street. The arrest was made at five p.m., and Huser will appear before justice of the peace Floyd Hunter at 3 p.m. Saturday. Joe Vera, of Kansas City, Mo., was flood a tonal of 318,75 tor pausing over the yellow line on US highway 37, 2 miles north of Decatur. Vera was arrested by the state police and appeared in JP court. Tom Anderson, of Decatur, was arrested tying on the sidewalk in the business district of Second street at 5:45 o'clock thia morning' and was charged with public intoxication in mayor’s court, Mayor John Doan fined Anderson 35 and costs during the court session at 10 a.m. thia morning. Ft Wayne Mon Dies In Highway Mishap FORT WAYNE, Ind. (INS) — Hobart Miller, 33, of Fort Wayne, was killed today in a two- ear collision on U. S. 24 about 5H miles west of Fort Wayne. Police said Miller's car was on the wrong side of the road and collided head on with an auto driven by Arthur C. Rhode, 21, of Sandusky, Q. Rhode, who suffered minor Injuries, said he swung onto the berm of the road to avoid Miller’s oncoming auto and Miller also swung opto the berm and they met head-on.
