White Sox And Cardinals Win Last Evening The White Sox defeated the Red Sox 9-6. in a Little League game, and the Cardinale downed the Brave*. 9-8, In a Pony League game, played aa a double header Wedneeday night at Worthman field. r A six-fun fourth inning and carried the White ,Box to their 9-6 win. The rune ecored on only three hits, plus three walks, a hit batsman and two errors. The Red Box were limited to three hits by White Box’ hurler Gross. There was a total of only three hits by both teams in the Pony League nightcap, but 15 bases on balls, a hit batsman and seven errors contributed heavily to the scoring in the Cardinals’ 9-3 win. Each team used two pitchers, with the Cardinals getting only two hits, and the Braves only one.
