COUNTY'S 4-H (Twrw To Pa<e Fsur) stoves and a refrigerator; and Stucky of Geneva is donating a gas stove. The kitchen equipment will be set up in the basement of the old Monroe school, which is connected by « basement door with the food tent. Home-cooked food at very reasonable prices will be features at the fair again this year. Tents will start to rise on the fata- grounds on Friday, and will continue through Monday, county agent L- E. Archbold reports. Most of the paper work for the fair has been handled through the county extension office. The Monroe volunteer firemen have constructed the entertainment platform at the rear of the school again this year. An entertainment festival will be featiyred lyednesday and Thursday evenings from 8 p.m. until 10 p.m. Judging will take place each day as outlined in the 4-H club catalogue, which was mailed to all farm homes in the county. Next year's fair will be at the newly purchased 8% acre 4-H fair ground next to the Adams Central school. Work on the new fair ground, owned by the 4-H club council, has already started. Marine Reservists Back Home Saturday Marine reservists of the ninth rifle company, now in the second week of a two-week training session at Camp LeJeuqe, N. Girl Is Held For $2,500 Forgery INDIANAPOLIS (IN) —A judge will decide Monday whether to place 20-year-old Judy Ann Webb of Indianapolis on probation or send her to jail for forging $2,500 in checks. Miss Webb, charged specifically with forging an SBO check last April 22 on her then employer, said she spent the money- some 02,500, on "clothes and things" within a month. A new record in tree farming, helping assure a permanent supply of southern pine, was set in the South last year when more than 400 new tree farms came into being. Total tree farm acreage now is 17,600,000.
